ABOUT POST-NATAL YOGA

The role of Postnatal yoga is to target specific muscles and parts of the women’s body affected by pregnancy and childbirth through mindful movement, postnatal yoga postures, pelvic floor exercises, postnatal breathwork and relaxation.
Postnatal yoga is a place you’ll meet others on your same journey and have a space held, just for you.

POST-NATAL YOGA BENEFITS

After childbirth, some of the things women experience range between incontinence, diastasis recti, prolapsed bladder, painful sex, lower back pain, poor mental health, postnatal anxiety, postnatal depression. Many women also report feeling unsupported and a disconnect from themselves as they get to know this new version of themselves.

What to expect from a Post-Natal class with Carla

Carla’s in person classes at the studio run in 8 week blocks and are for mum only, NO babies.

Each week you can expect a one hour practice that focuses on mindful movement, postnatal yoga postures, pelvic floor exercises, postnatal breathwork and relaxation that will meet and support you wherever you are on your postnatal journey.

OTHER WAYS TO WORK WITH CARLA
