200hr Yoga Teacher Training Course

Studio 52 is proud to host Function & Flow 200hr Teacher Training Course in our space, led by senior teachers Mark Cregan and Eleanor Steane. Mark and Eleanor, along with a group of experienced guest teachers will help enrich your personal practice and evoke your inner teacher.

This 200hr foundational teacher training offering is rooted in traditional Vinyasa Flow Yoga with a strong emphasis on Mobility and Movement Mechanics, providing new and expansive ideas to help you move and teach with confidence and integrity.

Together with over 30 years of practice, training, and teaching, Mark and Eleanor will support you on your personal journey through study, ritual, refinement, and discovery.

Their expansive course commences October 2024 and will finish March 2025. All modules will be hosted at Studio 52, Cathedral Quarter, Belfast.

Module 1: October 11-13

Module 2: November 8-10

Module 3: December 6-8

Module 4: January 10-12

Module 6: February: 1-2 AND 21-23

Module 7: March 14-16


50hr Advanced Training Course

This module is dedicated to yoga teachers (with a minimum 200hr teaching certification) who have trained in a different style of yoga but would like to develop a deeper understanding of the energetic evolution and intelligence of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, along with Mobility and Movement Mechanics for today’s bodies - and ultimately, to incorporate these modalities into their practice and/or teachings.

It is also dedicated to students with an established yoga practice that would like to explore new and expansive ideas through movement, that will help them flow with confidence and integrity while enriching their approach to personal practices. 


Course Content:

  • Vinyasa Roots & Traditional Flows - This forms the foundation of this course

  • Vinyasa Krama - Intelligent and purposeful sequencing - Moving from simple to complex

  • Redefining the Breath - Exploring functional breathing patterns and how the breath supports, informs and guides the practice 

  • Mobility & Movement Mechanics - How form supports freedom in movement

  • Music in Motion - The power of music - Learn how to create the perfect playlist to support and enhance your practices and/or teachings

  • Class Structure & Themes - The tools to practice and/or teach classes that are coherent 

  • Transitions - Embedding the importance of the Connecting Vinyasa - The ‘Chorus’ of the Practice

  • Arm Balances & Inversions - Introduce, Explore & Support
