Hypnobirthing

Join Leslie Altic in our studio for this amazing way to prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for your birth.

Can you feel confident and in control throughout pregnancy and birth? Can you have an empowering and positive birth experience? Can you feel excited and prepared instead of worried or scared when you think about your baby’s birth? The answer to all of these questions is yes, you can!

Hypnobirthing is an amazing way to prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for your birth. Not only does it benefit mum, partner and baby, throughout pregnancy and labour, but the techniques that you learn are just as useful in the immediate postnatal period, as well as through all aspects of life at times of stress or anxiety.

About the Course

The KGHypnobirthing course is a comprehensive in-depth antenatal programme that will give you the knowledge, tools and techniques to enable you to have an empowering and positive birth experience, with the skills that you learn helping you to remain calm and in control throughout your birth. You will learn about the physiology of birth and the powerful mind-body connection, as well as simple but effective breathing techniques and relaxations to enable you to release any fears you hold around birth and increase your confidence and trust, in your body, your baby and your instincts.

Sessions are:

  1. The theory of hypnobirthing, the mind-body connection and the role of the nervous system

  2. Practical skills of breathing techniques and relaxations, physical preparation for birth

  3. Making the decisions that are right for you, birth preferences, induction and interventions

  4. The physiology of labour and baby’s journey and how to use the techniques of hypnobirthing through labour

Is the course suitable for you?

The course is suitable from the 2nd trimester, and is for everyone and every type of birth. Birth partners are encouraged to join in too, as they play a huge role in birth and are the main source of continuity and support. Each couple will receive a KGHypnobirthing book and Parent’s Resource folder, The Magic Carpet MP3 relaxations tracks and a goody bag to help prepare for the big day.
